HSC Groundbreaking

The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored an official groundbreaking ceremony for Huff, Stuart & Carlton in early May. The following is from the Chamber’s press release.

“Susan Martin, president of the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, was honored to participate in an official groundbreaking ceremony for Huff, Stuart & Carlton’s new office building being erected in the West Jefferson Professional Offices development at the corner of Ambassador and Jefferson Drives off Route 221 in Forest.

Huff, Stuart & Carlton is a fee-only wealth management firm originally established in 1983. Principals of the firm, Rick Huff, Sandy Stuart, Joel Bengds and Brian Carlton are pleased to announce that after four years of reviewing site possibilities, the building is expected to be completed in the spring of 2009. Once the building is completed, Huff, Stuart and Carlton will occupy the entire ground floor. Rick Huff remarked, “We plan now to keep our business in Forest due to its growth potential along with an ever growing professional workforce that is looking for guidance from an established and experienced provider of objective financial assistance.”

The mission of Huff, Stuart and Carlton is to help their clients “effectively and efficiently manage the resources God has blessed them with.”

Pastor Willie Taylor with Cornerstone Community Church was present to invoke blessings on the new project, its developers, its owners and their clients. The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce certainly joins with their many well-wishers to extend best wishes for this spectacular endeavor to our member, Huff, Stuart and Carlton.”
