Bank of Brazil Economic Forecaster Visits HSC

Dulce Vasconcelos, visited Huff, Stuart & Carlton for an afternoon in April and was given a bird’s eye look at what fee-only wealth management is all about.

Ms. Vasconcelos was part of a small contingent who came from Brasilia as part of a Rotary group study exchange. During the six week exchange visit, Ms. Vasconcelos had the opportunity to visit many financial institutions around central Virginia learning how they operate.

She was hosted for the week by Brian Carlton of Huff, Stuart & Carlton and his wife Liz. In 1989 Mr. Carlton was part of a Rotary exchange and visited southern Brazil.  Mr. Carlton said “It’s a wonderful experience to host a person from another country. You make real connections with real people and find they are really not that different from you”.
